Praying with Elias…
I take Elias & Adeline to day-school on most mornings. I love short car rides with Elias. Looking at each other in the rear view mirror, car rides often give us a chance to engage in interesting uninterrupted conversations. Sometimes our conversations are silly. Sometimes they rhyme. Sometimes they go deeper than I once thought was possible for a three-year-old human who’s just learned how to pee standing up.
Parenting Elias is awesome 98% of the time…
Elias is three-and-a-half. I love this age. Elias is wide-eyed. He’s curious. He’s hilarious. He’s kind to his baby sister. He’s full of wonder. He’s patient. He respects others. Seriously, he is a really good kid… …98% of the time. And then roughly 2% of the time, he’s acts like a socially misfit little demon [...]
Haircut
For the first time, Elias didn’t throw a fit while getting his haircut. He’s getting so big. Do your kids like haircuts?
Why I don’t spank my kids…
